PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia Holds Blood Donation Drive as a Manifestation of Humanitarian Care in Commemoration of Its 12th Anniversary
Cilegon — PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia (PT KRSI) once again demonstrated its commitment to humanitarian values through a Blood Donation Drive held on Tuesday, (16/12/2025), at the Main Building Lobby of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia. This activity formed part of the Company’s 12th Anniversary commemoration and also served as a follow-up to the Health Talk on blood donation education conducted the previous day.
The blood donation activity was carried out in collaboration with the Blood Donation Unit (Unit Donor Darah/UDD) of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Cilegon City and was attended by employees and business partners of PT KRSI. Of the 34 prospective donors who registered, 29 participants were declared eligible and successfully donated blood after completing the required health screening procedures.
The Director of Operations of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia, Galih Walandhi, stated that the activity represents the Company’s tangible concern for others and the ongoing humanitarian needs within society.
“We organized this blood donation activity together with PMI Cilegon City as a concrete expression of our concern for humanitarian needs. Every drop of blood donated holds great meaning for the safety and lives of others. We truly appreciate the active participation of KRSI employees and partners, because through this simple action we can provide hope and life for those in need,” said Galih.
Appreciation was also conveyed by PMI Cilegon City for the enthusiasm and strong support shown by the management of PT KRSI throughout the activity.
“We highly appreciate the enthusiasm of the employees and management of PT KRSI in organizing this blood donation activity as part of the KRSI 12th Anniversary celebration. One bag of blood can save a life, and through this initiative, PT KRSI has helped spread the spirit of Give Life, Give Blood to the community in need,” said the Doctor of the Blood Donation Unit of PMI Cilegon City, dr. Arasy Fitri Amir.
Through this blood donation initiative, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia hopes to continuously foster a spirit of solidarity, social awareness, and humanitarian values within the Company, in line with PT KRSI’s commitment to making a positive contribution to society and the surrounding environment.
