PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia Distributes Sacrificial Animals and Qurbani Meat as a Manifestation of Social Responsibility to the Community
Cilegon — In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia (PT KRSI) carried out the distribution of sacrificial animals and qurbani meat as a manifestation of its social responsibility and commitment to continuously delivering benefits to the surrounding communities.
The distribution of sacrificial animals was conducted on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, while the distribution of qurbani meat, in collaboration with PT Krakatau Steel Group, took place on Friday, May 29, 2026. The assistance was distributed to several locations, including Baitul Kholiq Mosque, Al-Khairiyah Islamic Education Foundation, Al-Itmam Islamic Education Foundation, and residents of Tegalratu Village.
The activity was attended by the Director of Finance & Human Capital of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia, Sukmo Widodo Setiawan, who stated that the qurbani program reflects the values of care and togetherness that the Company continues to uphold in fostering harmonious relationships with the surrounding community.
“The Eid al-Adha celebration serves as a reminder for us to continuously nurture the spirit of sharing and caring for others. Through the distribution of sacrificial animals and qurbani meat, we hope that PT KRSI’s presence can provide tangible benefits and further strengthen the positive relationship between the Company and the communities surrounding our operational areas,” he said.
Appreciation was also expressed by the Head of Tegalratu Village, Bahroni, S.E., for PT KRSI’s contribution and social concern toward the community.
