Welcoming the Holy Month of Ramadan, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia Conducts Worship Facility Clean-Up Activity
Cilegon — In preparation for the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia (PT KRSI) carried out a Worship Facility Clean-Up activity on Friday (13/02/2026), at the SIG Plant Cigading Musala.
The activity was attended by members of the Board of Directors, along with employees and business partners of PT KRSI, as a form of the Company’s concern for the cleanliness and comfort of worship facilities in the area surrounding its operations.
The clean-up was conducted collectively, covering both the interior and exterior areas of the musala, including the main prayer hall, ablution area, courtyard, and other supporting facilities. This initiative forms part of the Company’s efforts to create a clean, comfortable, and proper environment for worship, particularly ahead of Ramadan, which is closely associated with increased religious activities.
Representing the Board of Directors, the Director of Operations of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia stated that the activity reflects the Company’s social responsibility as well as its concern for the surrounding community.
“Through this worship facility clean-up activity, we aim to ensure that we can welcome Ramadan in a cleaner and more comfortable environment. This is a form of our concern and a commitment by PT KRSI to continue being present and delivering tangible benefits to the surrounding community,” he explained.
