Cilegon, 10 July 2025 - In an effort to improve the quality of health and work productivity, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia (KRSI), a company that produces Cement Slag is a JV company between KS & SIG, signing in the field of health services this collaboration is one of the synergies between companies in the KRSI holding
The signing of the cooperation took place at the Bapelkes Krakatau Steel office, Cilegon attended by the Board of Directors and Management of both parties.
After signing a joint agreement as well as realizing the collaboration, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia conducted a periodic Medical Check Up (MCU) program in 2025 for all employees and the Board of Directors of PT KRSI.
Medical Check Up (MCU) includes general physical examination, heart examination (ECG), ultrasound, X-ray, and health consultation.
Through this activity. PT KRSI shows its commitment in ensuring that the health of the workforce is maintained and potential health problems can be detected early. In addition to the aim of early detection of health problems, this program is also expected to be the basis for developing an effective K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) policy within PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia.
Moreover, this cooperation is also part of PT KRSI's strategy in building a healthy, productive, and sustainable work culture, and is in line with the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles that are being adopted by many national companies.
With the synergy between the industrial sector and the internal health services of the Krakatau Steel group, it is hoped that the implementation of this program will be able to have a long-term positive impact on employees and overall company performance. (tri)
