Environmental Stewardship in Action, PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia Conducts Tree-Planting in the Company Area
Cilegon — PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia (PT KRSI) carried out a tree-planting activity as a tangible expression of the Company’s commitment to environmental preservation. The activity was held on Friday, February 6, 2026, in the Office and Operational Areas of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia.
The activity was attended by members of the Board of Directors, along with employees and business partners of PT KRSI. In total, tree planting was conducted at approximately 20 locations across the Company’s office and operational areas.
The Director of Finance and Human Capital of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia stated that the activity forms part of the Company’s commitment to fostering a culture of environmental awareness within the workplace.
“This tree-planting initiative represents the Company’s responsibility and concrete contribution to environmental sustainability. We hope this activity will strengthen the awareness of all employees that every small step taken together can create a significant impact on environmental preservation in the future.”
Meanwhile, the Director of Operations of PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia added that the sustainability of the Company’s operations must go hand in hand with environmental conservation efforts.
